Tyler Kallasy
Hi, I'm Tyler! I'm a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and the founder of Beyond Pain. My work centers on helping people move better, feel stronger, and train with confidence — even when pain, injury, or setbacks have made that feel out of reach.
I started in the traditional healthcare system, but its limits were clear fast: everything felt rushed and rigid, with rarely enough time to understand the full story behind someone's pain. That pushed me to build something better. My approach is shaped by years across inpatient rehab, outpatient ortho, sports medicine, and home health — seeing how differently people move, heal, and adapt taught me to treat each person as an individual. No two people recover the same way, and no plan should be copy-paste.
Fitness has always been central to my life — CrossFit, powerlifting, road marathons, even an ultramarathon. I know what it feels like to chase performance goals and train through the ups and downs, and that lived experience helps me connect with the people I work with.
Since starting online coaching in 2018, I've helped hundreds of people move past pain, rebuild trust in their bodies, and get back to training hard — blending evidence-based clinical strategies with strength and conditioning for long-term progress, not short-term fixes. Education is one of my biggest passions: I teach for the Pain-Free Performance Specialist Certification (PPSC) and am writing a book for active adults and athletes stuck in the cycle of pain and setbacks.
In 2023 I opened a private physical therapy practice in Arvada, Colorado. I live in Denver with my fiancée Courtney, a canine physical therapist, and our dogs Cascade and Porter — where we spend as much time in the mountains as we can.
Happy you're here.
